19 Reasons Why Chihuahuas Are The Worst Dogs To Live With

Oh Chihuahuas… the smallest breed of dog named for the state of Chihuahua in Mexico, that has become one of the most popular of all dog breeds in the United States (and among celebrities)…

Is it because of being the world's smallest dog yet having the world's biggest personality stashed inside that tiny body? That larger-than-life persona that makes him appealing to men and women alike? or all of the above?

Fun and busy, Chihuahuas like nothing better than to be close to their people. They follow them everywhere in the house and ride along in tote bags when their people run errands or go shopping.

It's not unusual for Chihuahuas to form a close bond with a single person, and they can become very demanding if they're overindulged.

But as popular as they’ve become, you might be shocked to know that they are the worst dogs to live with… and there are 19 reasons for it.

Check out the 19 reasons why Chihuahuas are the worst dogs to live with on the next page:

  1. Whoever said they’re the worst ones are VERY WRONG!
I have 6 (1 male/5 females). My first one passed away a few years ago & I still miss him very much!
They’re a good, protective, lovable & adorable lil breed!
My babies are precious & priceless!!

  2. This is so NOT TRUE!!!!!Everybody has their choice of dog breed and my chihuahua,”Baby” is my heart!!!!!!!!!!And they are great pets if that’s your choice and I love my chihuahua!!!

  3. That’s BS. I have 2 pure bred, and they are absolutely wonderful. Very well mannered. In no way aggressive. Dogs are a reflection of the owner, if the dog is bad, the person who attempted to em, is a moron.

  4. You’re right!
I can’t remember the last time I did!
Not b/c of my babies though.
    I use to have 3 jobs (teaching at a public school/after school Girl Scouts/church day care/retired 2015).
I’m also too busy helping my daughter who’s a single mom of a 4 1/2 yr old (babysitting/financially). She decided to take on a summer job (4 days a week). Next year, God willing, I plan to leave my husband w/the babies (hopefully my 2 adults kids will supervise… Lol) & visit my sister in Arkansas/go w/her to visit her eldest daughter/G-kids in Montana.
    Please wish me luck.
    Thank you Barbara Anne Glenn!
