19 Reasons Why Boxers Are The Worst Dogs To Live With

Oh Boxer dogs… the breed that has become one of the most popular of all dog breeds in the United States (and among celebrities)…

Is it because of their playfulness, loyalty, friendliness or intelligence? or all of the above?

They've been known to be great companion dogs that love to please the owners, despite the fact that they were bred for hunting and dog fighting purposes back in the 19th century.

During the war, they worked as messengers, but since have become popular as family pets. Although they are gentle with humans, they make great guard dogs as well.

But as popular as they’ve become, you might be shocked to know that they are the worst dogs to live with… and there are 19 reasons for it.

Check out the 19 reasons why Boxers are the worst dogs to live with on the next page:

  1. Here are all three of my precious babies with our niece who is 5 in this picture. She is 16 now!! We sure do treat our babies just like our children. Spoiled but never ever rotten. Perfectly spoiled and loved beyond measure!!! <3 <3 <3 <3

  2. Yes Ma’am! Unconditional Lil Lovers all the way. And our love for them is unconditional as well. I surely can’t live without my precious babies. Our Graci bug is loving being the only baby right now, my sister and her 2 chihuahuas live with us so she is not lonely. We sure will have another boxer and another pug one day when we are alone again. I just can’t live without dogs. I have to stay at home and it is perfect to be able to raise them from puppies. I hope we can have one of each and raise them together this next time. But either way they come to us we will happily take them. We are looking at rescues first since there are so many sweet and precious babies who need homes. <3 <3 <3

  3. Our Scarlet was a rescue and she saved me as well, after a terrible back surgery. I was unable to get up for myself , but for her i would and did everything she ever needed. She was the most awesome and amazing sweetest girl ever!!! <3

  4. Both of mine are rescuses. I don’t know how people can be soo cruel. Butchie got hit with a four wheeler at 7 months old and was getting beat up by the other dogs because the hit dislodged his hip. He was given to me at 9 months to live in a safe home. Lola was from a breeder that would breed her and kept her in a cage. She barely had any fur when I took her and bad allergies to food. I just don’t get it.

  5. Congratulations on both of your babies. I will never comprehend how some can be so cruel. Evil is running rampant in our world today but we kindhearted lovers of animals and people are more and we will win the battle with Evil. I have read the back of the book and in the end God and Good will prevail. Keep up the great work sweetheart and I sure will do my part daily to do all I can to be kind, tolerant and understanding. I have more empathy than alot do and I use it for good. There is nothing better in my eyes than to help and rescue those in need. We have a rescued kitty cat now because he needed a furever home. So now he has one. For Ever!! I don’t understand how anyone could hurt or throw away their babies. We love all animals in my family and we all do everything we can for them. My sisters babies are rescues too and our niece has a rescued chihuahua/beegle mix that is just the sweetest lil girl ever!! Our daddy has a rescued doggy too. He is a mix of all kinds but just as sweet as can be. I have found the rescued babies to be very affectionate and appreciative sweetest lovers ever. <3 <3 <3

  6. Omg..this is the cutest thing ever!! My first thoughts…whaaat? Worst dog…but looking thru pics is so my boxer n shows just how wonderful they are. For those offended that didn’t actually look at the article its really reasons why they are great…

  7. When my brindle girl, Holly, looks into my eyes, it’s like she’s looking straight into my soul. I’ve never experienced anything like that with any other dog. So much intelligence and so much love in those eyes.

  8. Boxers are awesome !! I owned one and loved her so much and miss her more now that she’s gone. I kept everything We gave her and still can smell her. My Dixie Poo passed away 16 days after her 7 th birthday from a horrible cancer
