19 Reasons Why Boxers Are The Worst Dogs To Live With

Oh Boxer dogs… the breed that has become one of the most popular of all dog breeds in the United States (and among celebrities)…

Is it because of their playfulness, loyalty, friendliness or intelligence? or all of the above?

They've been known to be great companion dogs that love to please the owners, despite the fact that they were bred for hunting and dog fighting purposes back in the 19th century.

During the war, they worked as messengers, but since have become popular as family pets. Although they are gentle with humans, they make great guard dogs as well.

But as popular as they’ve become, you might be shocked to know that they are the worst dogs to live with… and there are 19 reasons for it.

  1. 1. They’ll be pushing their food bowl all over the house while eating. By the time they’re done eating, they’ll be from the kitchen to either the bedroom or even outside, and they don’t even know it.
    2. They want to be in the bathroom with you while you’re dropping the kids off at the pool.
    3. They literally throw punches when playing/fighting with them.
    4. If your boxer has clipped pointy ears, put a set of gargoyle wings on their back and a horn on the top of their head.
    5. Who needs one of those crappy worthless overpriced expensive baby monitoring devices when you have a boxer who’ll follow the baby around and bark whenever the baby gets near a set of stairs, either going up or down.

  2. My ONLY problem with boxers (and yes, I’ve had many of them) is that they stay puppies all their lives, and that’s a good thing except that I’m getting a bit too old to keep up . . . Darn. They can be a bit strong-willed and doofuses at the same time. They are the ideal dog but I’m just a little too old to be the ideal dog companion. I’ve never felt the least bit concerned about trusting them with my children, grand-children and great-grand-children. . . .and, yes, if the right one came along I would again be a boxer-mommy.
