  1. I have a put, Scooter, and a female, Izzie, who will be apart of our family in 6 wks. She is 2 weeks old now. Scooter us very loving, loyal, and extremely smart. He can say I love you, grandma, and no. Lol. I love them as if they were my children. They are my family.

  2. iI have 3 lovely pugs Tzima the mom, Bruce Lee and Jett Lee brothers. I love them all. Tzima and Bruce Lee passed away. I only have Jett Lee left he is still strong and active. He always follow me wherever I go. He is my good buddy. He is 15 years old now. I’m sure both Bruce and Tzima are in PUG HEAVEN.

  3. We have a year old male pug and he is the “baby of the house” and he knows that very well. We just love him to bits. Pugs are the most adorable and friendly breed that we have come accrossed

  4. Of all the movies recognized in the begining of the article, how could you leave out milo and otis.

    Signed, Proud Pug Owner

  5. I had alittle freckle near my toes on my left foot all my life. My dear old pug saw it and began licking it quite fiercely. For 4 -5 nights she would rip off my shoe/sock and start licking it again for ages until there was absolutely no sign of its existence. She never did this to any other freckle and I have always felt that it may have become malignant. She was such a clown she made me laugh all the time.

  6. And they shed horrendously! Too many are being taken to shelters for this reason so if you cannot stand wearing pug glitter, do not get a pug. I was proud to have puggy hair all over. Loyal was forgotten in the list!

  7. If you don’t like shedding, pugs are one you might not want to take into your home. However if all the positive traits of a pug, and there are SOOO many, mean more to you than vacuuming hair daily, by all means get a pug. My pug was the best dog I ever had, wish I’d learned about them earlier in my life. <3 <3

  8. Shedding is the only drawback of a pug, there are over a million good reasons to own one! I have had a pug or two in my home for over 38 years! The first one I had for 18 years! They are by far the best!

  9. Shedding is a good thing. It forces u to actually vacuum your disgusting home. Dont ever send your pug to a shelter…send them to me. Dogs are so instantly loyal it’s basically stabbing them in the back by sending them away. Dont be a$#%&!@*or I’ll find you…
