    We lost our Black and Tan Annie in Nov. to an immune disease. Miss her so. Finally went to a dachshund rescue to get a buddy for our other doxie. Best thing we could have done.

    Her body is still healing, too, so she may not be able to “clench” the muscles to hold it as she previously did. Be patient with her. A couple weeks doesn’t mean she’s fully healed from an invasive surgery like that.

    Just adopted a 16 year old dachshund (chiweenie) named Dolly from the pound yesterday! her owner who had her since she was a puppy was moved to hospice. She is with our blind dachshund Baby in the picture! Love the old guys.
