A 12-year-old girl is a hero to an elderly pug who was tied up in a plastic bag and thrown out of a car to die by the side of the road.
It's just so sad and heartbreaking to hear dogs getting neglected and abandoned like this elderly pug…
…but when we see ordinary people, let alone a 12-year-old girl, go out of their way to save dogs in need, our faith in humanity somewhat gets restored!

My pug lived a wonderful life until she was past 15 years old, and was so sick with no quality of life, we had to have her put down. I don’t understand how anyone could treat ANY animal the way this poor old boy was treated. I hope they find who did it, and jail them.

This happened in August 2015. The pug was taken in by the Buffalo Pug and Small Breed Rescue. They had a donation page for him, which brought in enough to take care of his health issues. He was fostered. There should be a number of photos showing his progress on their site or FB page.

HORRIBLE!!! Pugs are the most loyal and loving of dogs, this story breaks my heart. I am happy he is being well looked after now and hope he spends the rest of his days happy, safe and warm. Poor little man. :'(
