As many existing Pug owners will tell you, pugs are a lot like big dogs that are trapped in small bodies.

Pugs are clever and energetic little guys that can be quite a handful. They love getting attention and will pull off crazy stunts just to get some laughs from their human friends.

They are great at reading human emotions and can use what they know for their benefit. These clever dogs will use whatever they can to their advantage and will take over your household if you let them.

Overall they are adorable little guys that would make amazing pets for the right owners.

  1. Awe, my Rubble and his little sister Ellie Mae, can fit this to the T! Rubble was our first pug, full of energy and$#%&!@*galore! Even my 5 1/2 year old twins couldn’t complete! So after he was fixed (5 mths old) we got his half sister (same dad) to help drain his energy level! Lol! These two are complete opposites, best friends, and completely perfect for one another and our family! She is so laid back and lazy until I put them together! He brings out her playful side and works out some of his own energy at the same time! I would be worried about just how much this pup wants/likes to sleep if it wasn’t for him! Likewise, she works out enough of his energy that now he is able to relax and just hangout on the couch with us! I love my pugs! Two are better than one!
