Ranging from medium to large in size, the Siberian Husky is a working dog breed that was developed in Siberia.

A member of the Spitz family, the Siberian Husky has a double coat of thick fur, perky ears, and unique markings.

Highly intelligent, hardy, and energetic, the breed was developed in the harsh Siberian Arctic, where it was used to haul cargo long distances across frozen tundra.

Siberian Huskies were later imported to the United States and Canada, where they were used as sled dogs before becoming popular show dogs and family pets.

  1. There’s so much more….. need to know. Almost no fence can hold them. They love to run. They will run away, not on purpose. It’s usually a distraction, like a friend (Human or otherwise) they need to get to know. They’re completely loyal & loving. Love car rides. Love walks. Love telling stories or arguing. Very vocal and yet generally quiet. Very seldom bark. Don’t like sirens……. tend to howl. Sirens hurt their ears. They will constantly entertain you. You’ll need to have a lot of energy. If you’re up for it. They’re awesome dogs!!!!!

  2. Super smart. Totally loving, great traveller. Never aggressive. Gorgeous! Hilarious. Great conversationalist. Terrible watchdog….Loves everyone. He lifts my spirits. So much fun and love. So MUCH HAIR!!!!! Hes worth getting out the vacuum at least once a day.
