    How about all the health issues? Having to watch every little thing they do because of IVDD… which 1/5 end up being diagnosed with at some point in their life..
    Don’t get me wrong, my dachshund is just as much a child to me as my human child, but I feel that people need to be made aware of exactly what kind of lifestyle they’re getting themselves into before adding this breed of dog to their family.
    If you have kids, stairs, couches or beds in your house please do your research before getting this breed of dog.
