As a responsible dog owner, it's critical to know what you can and can't feed your dog. Is it enough to just stick with a decent doggy diet?

Nope. There's a ton of foods you probably didn't know about that can actually be really bad for your dog, including some that are perfectly healthy for humans.

There's nothing worse than having your dog suffer over a simple mistake in diet. While they're still man's best friend, they probably shouldn't eat like your best friend.

    Our boxer got pancreatitis from bacon & a hot dog! It is very real!
    We had to change how we did things. She was raised getting table scraps. & we had to stop right then.
    Sadly she passed away from a tumor on her pituitary gland, completely unrelated. She was only 5yrs 8mo old.
    We ended up getting another baby boxer and she never gets people food because we learned with the first one…..
    If you think they are “myths” ask your vet! You should be trust your vet!

    Seriously. ………my girl knocks everything out of the bowl just to get the cheese bites out first will make a mess all over the kitchen floor doing it lol and will eat anything I eat and she’s never had a anything make her sick or get her down

    My dachshund ate whatever i was eating. She died @ 17 human. Her likes incluced bananas, watermelon, all meats,green beans. And…once only…a poopy diaper. Oh and my vomit from her actions on said poopy diaper.

    What about when the dogs were wild they ate anything and didnt die didnt ever read about um making there own dog food thats stupid ive always gave my animales human food and they looked healthier than a dog that eats pure dog food and they seem more happy…
