As a responsible dog owner, it's critical to know what you can and can't feed your dog. Is it enough to just stick with a decent doggy diet?
Nope. There's a ton of foods you probably didn't know about that can actually be really bad for your dog, including some that are perfectly healthy for humans.
There's nothing worse than having your dog suffer over a simple mistake in diet. While they're still man's best friend, they probably shouldn't eat like your best friend.

My dads rat terrier lived 18 years on cheap dog food and table food..but times r different now..food is just not the same..the economy has forced companies to cheat ..allowing bad foods …not the same ingredients in them now at all..look it up..cheap dog food companies even recycle dead dogs from shelters in their foods..that have euthanized..and no they dont even take off the collars from what i have seen..disgusting..wont call any names just look it up..an accasional treat of table food is i feel ok..in small amounts even each day used as a treat only..but alot no..it spoils them…it takes away from interest in their quality dry food nutrients they need…

My lab usually tries to steal the last bits of milk or yogurt out of my bowl. She always get the last bit of cheese when I’m grating it other wise I get “the look” lol. Didn’t know about the bacon, not that she ever gets more then the cooked peice that dropped on the floor lol cause without doubt it always happens.
I give her an apple slice when I’m cutting mine up but never the core cause that’s silly, and carrots my lab loves carrot, she never takes anything off the counter unless it’s a carrot.

It’s okay to feed your dog human food. -.- But you want to do your research first and figure out what foods they should and should not eat. You also shouldn’t be giving them McDonalds burgers and a slice of pizza because you like how they taste. Take care of your dogs and they’ll take care of you.
