    I only disagree with pugs being low maintenance. Pugs require a lot of attention. They want to be close to their human at all times. They also shed a lot, and need to be brushed just about daily. Their nose wrinkle also needs to be cleaned out about as frequently. They can also have a lot of health problems, particularly with their eyes and hips. I like pugs.

    Not really. Yes, they shed, but really don’t need to be brushed everyday. I feed mine a premium food and he sheds less. Nose roll only cleaned when he gets a bath. Mine never had eye problems and hip problems
    S only when they got old, which is prevalent in many breeds. If you lighten up…you will have a great companion!

    I have 2 pugs, they’re not high maintenance, yes they want to be with me always, that’s why we have 2, from the time we got first one , he was left at home for at least an hr a day, ditto with 2nd one, now they’re able to keep each other company. Hip problem with puppy is in play now so am thinking acupuncture instead of surgery..eyes are kept clean always with eye drops, food is no grain, high protein, I use coconut oils in their food, shedding is minimal.

    I have my fifth pug and my daughter has my pug’s sister that stays with me and my pug every day while my daughter is working I can’t imagine life without my pugs.they are sooooo smart.I talk to them constantly and they seem to understand me.

    i have 6 Pugs and couldn’t imagine life without them! Yes they shed loads but that is nothing compared to the love they give. They love each other and keep each other’s eyes and ears clean. They just love sitting on my lap and cuddling up. They are my fur blanket !

    My baby pug is 8yrs old ..he is very high maintenance..he loves to be with me all the time, I keep his eyes clean and wrinkles ,he requires prime food,never stops shading but non of these things that shine people see as problems bother me on the contrary I love Everything about my pug and when I’m out of town and missing my boy I love it when I find a few of his hairs on my clothes lol
