Boston Terriers are very individualistic: Some are high-spirited and clownish, some are calm and dignified, even placid. Some are stubborn characters, while others are sweet and gentle.

But in general, the Boston Terrier is an altogether dapper and charming little dog. Playing games and chasing balls are (frequently) two of his passions.

Seeking companionship is another, for the Boston always wants to be with his family. His large expressive eyes, attentively cocked head, and snorting and snuffling sounds bring out parental feelings in many people.

    I can’t get enough of these little dogs!! I have Benson who is 11 years old I had another one Baxter who sadly passed have brought me such joy. They are smart loyal and funny if I could I would have a house ful

    If you want a dog who loves it’s family, if you want a god that loves to be anywhere the family is, if you want a dog that the perfect size for your house, expects hugs and praises and is smart as hell, then then Boston Terrier is for you.

    I have 2 Bostons who don’t have issues with smelly gas but I learned to do this by making home made food for them. I avoid chicken and grain for my female because it causes dry itchy skin. They are 10 yrs old and very early on I learned commercial dog food, certain grains and chicken were not there friends. I make big batches of food and portion them in the freezer and take them as needed. They are healthy with beautiful coats. It’s not for everyone but I’ve avoided a lot of the problems mentioned here.
