Boston Terriers are very individualistic: Some are high-spirited and clownish, some are calm and dignified, even placid. Some are stubborn characters, while others are sweet and gentle.
But in general, the Boston Terrier is an altogether dapper and charming little dog. Playing games and chasing balls are (frequently) two of his passions.
Seeking companionship is another, for the Boston always wants to be with his family. His large expressive eyes, attentively cocked head, and snorting and snuffling sounds bring out parental feelings in many people.
If you are considering to own a boston terrier, or you’ve just become a new boston terrier owner, there are some realities you do need to fully accept.
Check out the twelve realities new boston terrier owners must accept on the next page! …and if you already are a boston terrier owner, see if you can relate!

I’m new to the Boston family, but after getting my 1st 1 in Sept. I went all in and got a 2nd in March. They have 2 totally different personalities and it’s been a huge adjustment but my husband and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Kay Bush Iams is now considered a grocery store brand now. The company was sold a few years back. I use Royal Canin Gastro and my baby rarely has gas.

I bet that is when Iams changed their recipe. After they change the recipes my babies did not like it and refused to eat it. I no longer have my Boston’s they have crossed rainbow bridge. I still have a Pomeranian and now he won’t eat anything but Rachel Rays dog food!

I think you’re right Kay, I used to feed mine Iams when he suddenly stopped liking it and also stopped eating it. It was around when I heard they were sold so I wondered if they changed it. Sorry about your babies 🙁 but I’m sure they had a good life with you.

Omg the gas emitted, should come with gas masks as standard with each pup. Talk about environmental issues pure must be doing no good for the ozone layer. But brilliant dog and worth it even if he does gas us out. Lol
