Boston Terriers are very individualistic: Some are high-spirited and clownish, some are calm and dignified, even placid. Some are stubborn characters, while others are sweet and gentle.

But in general, the Boston Terrier is an altogether dapper and charming little dog. Playing games and chasing balls are (frequently) two of his passions.

Seeking companionship is another, for the Boston always wants to be with his family. His large expressive eyes, attentively cocked head, and snorting and snuffling sounds bring out parental feelings in many people.

    That’s too cute. And yep they are all very true. And damn worth every bit. Wouldn’t change it for the world one bit. I had no idea what I was getting into when I met Julia. Boy there has never been a dog that I cared much for. But she stole my heart and I was glad to have her steal it. But God I miss our Julia so much. It just hurts so much.

    YeArs ago I visited my non dog friendly friend in corpus Christi
    As she was driving us through a neighborhood, I yelled STOP! She was looking at me me as if I was crazy. There on the sidewalk was a very elderly woman & her Boston terrier.
    The lady was pulling weeds & her BT wS on a leash sitting beside her. I jumped out of the suv & began talking to the lady while rubbing her BT head
    For about ten minutes we talked and this BT. Met a new friend
    My friend never understood
    She said it was as if a BT cult had invaded her
    I’m sure that old lady has passed since a it’s been 16 yrs ago but oh how I remember two strangers, 40 yrs Iin Difference held an understanding if the love of being owned by a Boston terrier.

    I’m sure you have forgotten this one of the 1,000 memories you left me with that wonderful week we finally were able to meet.
    Yes, it’s been 16 years this September .
