    We are not rich and famous we are everyday people that treated our beloved Cocker Spaniel like a queen for sixteen years with her. She was our baby girl and never went without anything she had a wonderful life until cancer took over no matter how much we spent at her Vet nothing could save her life. Katie has been gone 13 months now, we both still cry and miss her at night I can hear my husband talk to her and that he will be with her soon. I know he would take his life if he knew they would be back together in heaven. I tell him that she is ok and running around playing.

    I am no celebrity however my Cockers live the high life. Dogs just want love, routine, food and shelter. They don’t care about their humans bank balance. Treat a dog with respect and they will love you with or without a bank balance.

    I absolutely love Cocker spaniels but they are very active and high maintenance dogs and need regular care, grooming and attention. They are not toys an people should do their research before they buy a Cocker spaniel. They should understand the responsibility and commitment it takes to own this beautiful breed of dog. It breaks my heart seeing these beautiful animals neglected, dirty, ungroomed with long and badly knotted coats because owners cannot be bothered to even spend 5 minutes a day to wipe their eyes and brush their coat. Unless you are are willing to properly look after the dog then dog get one. This applies to all breed of dogs. People that think that dogs are just animals that should be kept outside and not given time time attention they need and not properly looked after should never own a dog!
