Evil people locked Zeus in a dark room and abandoned him there to suffer and starve to death.
Thankfully, someone found out about Zeus’ awful situation, took him from the room, and called Viktor Larkhill and his team of rescuers for help.
When they arrived, they found Zeus wrapped in blankets in horrifying critical condition. His hair was missing and his body was covered in crusty, bleeding sores.

They rushed him to the hospital, where his treatment began.
Zeus had clearly been through so much in his life, but he remained friendly and trusting of humans. He laid there and allowed rescuers and vets to do whatever they needed to in order to get him better.
They gave him multiple medicated baths to help his skin condition.

Once Zeus was healed, he looked like a whole new dog! Not only was he healed on the outside, but he was healed on the inside as well. He was now a healthy, happy pup who still had so much more life to live.
He was soon adopted by a couple and is loving every moment of his new life!
