Tori Spelling Adopts 14-Year-Old Dog Who Was Dumped At Shelter Before Christmas

Actress and television personality Tori Spelling and her husband, Dean McDermott, have just welcomed a new four-legged member to their family, just in time for Christmas!

Arthur Bear is a 14-year-old senior dog who Spelling and her family adopted from Much Love Animal Rescue in Santa Monica, California. Sadly, Arthur was abandoned by his owner at a local shelter and had been waiting for a new home.

Spelling, an advocate for pet rescue and adoption, took to Instagram to share the exciting news. She posted an adorable photo of Arthur under their Christmas tree, who will get to spend the holidays in a warm, loving home thanks to the McDermott family’s generosity.

Unfortunately, senior dogs are often overlooked in shelters due to their age, but they deserve a loving home just as much as puppies do! If you are looking to get a new dog, please visit your local shelter and consider adopting a senior pup!

“Think of the kindness you are showing being able to give a senior dog a forever home,” Spelling wrote in the Instagram caption. “Arthur now has a big family to give him lots of love and cuddles and we will treat him like the king he is for the rest of his twilight years. The best is yet to come Sit Arthur…Thanks for loving my kiddos and letting the baby pull on your fur and just giving unconditional love to us!”
