A rescue worker spotted something strange on the side of the road right near the shelter as he drove passed. When he slowed down, he realized it was a cardboard box.
Of course, ordinarily, this would mean nothing but to a seasoned rescuer a perfectly placed box like this could mean a number of things.
He wouldn’t forgive himself if he just drove by– he had to stop and check it out.

When the rescuer approached the box, he was thankful he did stop– because inside were two tiny puppies. How could anyone be this cruel?!
To leave two babies in a box in the freezing cold instead of bringing them to the shelter is a potential death sentence! What if no one saw them in time?

As sad as it sounds, it would have been better if they were left with their mother. At least they wouldn’t be separated and their mother could nurture them.

The rescuers ran over to the shelter to get bottles and puppy formula. They made bottles to take with them to the puppies’ new foster home.
Puppies this young cannot stay at the shelter because they’re too young to be vaccinated and need around the clock care.

The loving rescuer gave the puppies something to eat first, then drove them to their new foster home. Their foster mom was eagerly waiting for them.
She’s very experienced and knows how to handle puppies this young. Her gentle touch was exactly what these babies needed!

Days went by and the babies grew and grew. As soon as they turned 12 weeks of age, they were put up for adoption and guess what! They both found loving homes!

While some individuals out there are totally heartless and can abandon animals and not look back — there are more people with big hearts who will love them.
That is how we get our best revenge. By turning their ‘unwanted trash’ into loving family members!
