34-year-old Wagner de Lima Figueiredo, a semi-professional cowboy, tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident. For his best friend and trusted horse, Sereno, this cruel event brought upon an earth-shattering load of despair.

In this tear-jerking funeral video, we see Sereno’s inconsolable moments before Wagner was put to rest. As the casket was brought out at the beginning of the funeral, it finally set upon Sereno that his best friend was never coming back again.
On-lookers were shocked to see the passion and overwhelming love Sereno had for his friend. The heart-broken horse kept pounding the ground with his hooves in utter sadness. Throughout the procession, he sniffed around the coffin and whimpered at the sight of his motionless friend.

When alive, Wagner’s love for Sereno was equally intense. He would often sacrifice his needs to be able to afford horse feed.
Our prayers and deepest condolences go to Sereno in his period of grievance. We hope he remains as cherished as ever.
