We know that most of you have already seen dogs do trust falls, but now- even cats are doing it.
You read that correctly!
Or, at least one cat: Didga. Didga the cat performs a trust fall for his owner in a video posted by CATMANTOO on YouTube a couple of days ago. Didga does a lot of daring stuff that his owner captures, including skateboarding and surfing, but the trust fall is kind of spectacular.
“A hundred percent against their instinct, Didga (cat) overcomes the urge to spin to point her feet in the direction falling, (cats always land on their feet remember),” CATMANTOO writes in the video description. “[I] catch her as she falls straight back into my hands. That’s trust!”
It definitely is. We conducted the experiment ourselves and wound up with a very confused kitty.
