Instead of placing the bowl down directly in front of his gorgeous feline friend, the man set the bowl down and bent over to “eat” himself! Confused, the cat watched as her owner munched on her delicious meal.
Then she reached her paw out and did something that has everyone in laughter! According to Time, cats love humans more than food – even though it's hard to come to that conclusion after watching this video!
The publication explains, “Cats may have a reputation of being standoffish creatures who show their owners affection merely to fill their tummies. However, a new study carried out by scientists from Oregon State University has determined that felines actually prefer human social interaction to food, making them no less loving than their canine counterparts.”
This means that humans have the same type of loving relationship with cats as they do with dogs! Putting the science aside, this owner decides to try snagging the bowl of food away from his beloved kitty cat friend yet again!
Sure enough, she grabs the bowl with her paw and drags it closer. This meal is clearly not for sharing – come on, Dad!
Soon, Dad realizes that his favorite feline just isn't remotely interested in dining together. The cat doesn't even pay him any attention once it drags the bowl back a final time.
This silly mealtime trick is something that cat owners far and wide are going to try out for themselves! While their felines love them, they just aren't willing to share their food.
