Hope For Paws received a call regarding two homeless dogs who had been living under an RV.
Rescuers Eldad and Loreta quickly arrived at the scene, but by the time they got there, someone had taken one of the dogs and left.

The remaining dog was very timid and wouldn’t let rescuers come near her. Whenever they got close, she would crawl under the RV to hide.
They knew they had to be careful since they didn’t want the dog to dart out in the middle of the road. During the rescue, the pup almost got hit by a speeding car.

Once she was lying under the RV again, Eldad approached her slowly and was able to catch her with his gentle snare.
Once she was out from under the RV, she immediately surrendered and allowed rescuers to pet her. She finally realized that they were there to help her.
They decided to name her Hayley.

Hayley’s past is unknown, but just by looking at her, it’s obvious that she had been living on the streets for quite some time. Her fur was matted, and she was so filthy that her white fur had turned brown.
They brought her to the animal hospital, where they spent an hour shaving off all of her mats and cleaning her up.

After they were done giving her a bath, she laid on the couch and took a nap. This was probably the first time in her life that she was able to close her eyes and sleep in peace.
Once she was fully healed from her spay surgery, she was fostered by Foxy and the Hounds, and then went on to her forever home!

Today, Hayley is loving life and looks like a brand new dog. Her beautiful white fur has grown back in, and she can’t stop smiling and wagging her tail.
