A Golden Retriever mix named Rosie was found and taken to the Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue. She was pregnant and about to give birth, and shelter heads Katie and John Black started tending to the mama-to-be.
Puppies can look different from their mothers due to cross-breeding, but when Rosie started giving birth, it was a shocker. Her four babies looked nothing like her. In fact, they looked like little cows!
With their black and brown spots on their fur, they named the puppies Daisy, Clarabelle, Betsy, and Moo. 🙂
This didn’t stop Rosie from loving them as much as possible! Today, they’re all in loving forever homes, and it’s all thanks to Katie and John for putting the effort in and giving the homeless Golden Retriever a chance.
