Ashley saw that the dog was injured and instantly knew that he must have been stranded there for days. She gave an emergency call to Pinellas Park Police Department and kept an eye on the poor dog. Soon, Officer Fox arrived at the scene and assessed situation.

Officer Fox knew that the dog wouldn’t survive in the dirty swamp much longer. Without wasting another second, he crossed the fence and started climbing down the steep embankment.

He painfully plodded through the entangled weeds and finally reached his hand out to the distressed dog! The dog was bleeding from his paws and was very weak, so the officer carried him all the way out to safety!
