Pet owner begs thief to return photos of dog’s last day alive in heartrending note

Saoirse Morgan was walking on a street in Toronto, Canada, when she came across a heartbreaking note that was taped to a lamp post. She snapped a picture of it and posted it on Facebook, which quickly went viral, breaking the hearts of thousands of people all over the world.

The note was written by a pet owner who is begging the man who had just robbed them to return the memory card from the camera they took. The memory card contains pictures of their dog’s last day alive on it.

“Keep the cash, and my DSLR, and whatever else you took. But if you have the memory card from the camera, please, it has photos of my dog’s last day alive on it. I cannot replace those photos. Please throw it onto the porch or put it in the mail slot,” the note read.

“Please. She died a few days ago. I cannot lose those photos as well.”

The dog owner is asking it be returned to 735 Bloor St. W. Toronto, Ontario. M6G1L5. If you have any information regarding this situation, please text or call 647-267-0366.

“Photo taken at Bloor and Lansdowne. This is simply heartbreaking. I hope this person does the right thing,” Morgan wrote on Facebook.

We can only hope that the flyers get seen by the criminal and are eventually returned to its rightful owner.
