When rescuers from Stray Rescue of St. Louis saw a medium-sized dog dragging around a 10-pound chain, they couldn’t believe their eyes. The dog barked at them, so they offered some food. They were finally able to lure the pup into their vehicle to take her away from this life of neglect and abuse.

Rescuers couldn’t wait to get that chain off from around the poor dog’s neck. And the look on Fallon Marie’s face when she has it removed after who knows how long is one of pure relief. She’s finally free.

I can’t imagine how much better she must’ve felt! A 10-pound chain is ridiculous for any dog let alone one who only weighs in at 31 pounds like Fallon Marie.
