The staff at the “Brevard Humane Society” in Cocoa, Florida, has reported an intense case of animal cruelty involving a Black Labrador named Daisy.
The poor pooch was thrown out on a roadside in an extremely emaciated state. The starving dog was found eating a towel-sized blanket as she was unable to move due to her fractured paws.

Daisy weighs only 29 lbs, which is almost half of what she should normally weigh. Vets say her health clearly suggests that her owner starved her intentionally.
However, the most pressing issue with Daisy is that her digestive tract is completely blocked by the blanket pieces she ate out of hunger and desperation.
The shelter says that Daisy’s love-starved behavior is indicative of the extreme hate that she was subjected to by her owner. Despite her weak health, Daisy wags her tail non-stop and literally begs humans to love her.
After she recovers, this traumatized girl would need an especially empathetic forever family who understands her abusive past.

The authorities are currently scanning the area where Daisy was found dumped. They have asked the public to reach out to them if they have any information about her owner.
