After Woman Leaves Border Collie Tied To Shopping Cart, Dog Slams Into Car

A sweet Border Collie was out for a walk with his owner recently in Perth, Australia when the woman decided to get some Chinese take-out food at an area strip mall.

Unable to take the dog inside with her, she tied the dog up to a shopping cart outside and went inside to fetch her food.

Thanks to a dashcam from a nearby vehicle, what happened next was recorded and posted online.

Moments after the dog’s owner enters the restaurant, the Border Collie gets spooked by something and takes off running.

Because he is tied up to the cart, he drags it behind and slams right into a parked car.

Luckily, two people were parked ahead of that vehicle and hurried over to help the dog.

As the dashcam video in the parked car concludes, two good Samaritans attempt to help the pooch out of his predicament.

On social media, dog lovers were unhappy with the dog’s owner, sharing comments such as, “Why the heck would you tie your dog to a shopping trolley?!”
