Benji the dog was found alone and wandering the streets. Obviously neglected for a long time, he didn’t have much hope left and cowered in fear when touched. Luckily, through the care of Dr. Karri at Vet Ranch, he made an astounding recovery. Benji was covered in thousands of fleas, literally sucking the blood out of his body and had some bad teeth that needed to be taken care of.
Watch as the schnauzer gets all cleaned up and ready to meet his adoptive mom! What’s amazing to see is how timid and scared he is at the beginning and how confident he is after he’s been looked after. I especially love how he jumps right into his new mom’s car. He’s ready to go home!
