Army Vet Drops To His Knees In Shock When Honored and Surprised With Service Dog at Knicks Game

A United States war veteran was left with a big grin and a few wet kisses on his face after being surprised with a service dog during a New York Knicks game.

Luciano Yulfo is a retired sergeant first class of the US Army who served for 36 years and was severely injured while in Afghanistan.

He has been waiting 18 months for a service dog and finally received one on Wednesday night, thanks to his daughter and the Knicks' Hoops for Troops program.

The 10-month-old golden retriever pup, Murphy will help Yulfo live a normal life within his community.
