Animal Aid Unlimited received a call about a street dog who’d been hit by a car and was unable to stand, so they set out right away to help. Little did the dog know his guardian angels were about to show up! He was in a lot of pain, so rescuers had to be extra careful.
They were able to get the dog to the vehicle and transport him back to their facilities to be checked over. First, they treated him for the pain. Then they found that the dog had suffered injuries to his pelvis, so he’d need extensive bed rest and lots of supportive care.
After only a few days, the dog was already feeling a lot better! But it would take several more weeks of physical therapy to fully recover and walk again. Without Animal Aid’s help, this precious boy wouldn’t have made it much longer lying there unable to get to food or water. But wait until you see Oreo today! 🙂
