Three puppies were submerged in rock solid tar where they had been stuck, unable to move even an inch for many hours. They were terrified and being unable to move, could only cry out in fear.
Animal Aid Unlimited in India arrived to help — and it was not an easy task as the tar was almost rock solid. It took many hours over several days for the rescuers to soften the tar by massaging oil and giving many baths, but these three puppies had incredibly strong spirits.
The cries of the poor puppies pierced my heart, but thanks to the dedication of these wonderful rescuers the puppies were eventually reed from their tar prisons. Not only did the puppies survive, but rescuers found their mama!
