Watching This Pug Act Territorial Over HER Pizza Is About To Make Your Day

Pugs love food, and begging can easily get out of hand if family members are in the habit of feeding their dog from the table or offering scraps from plates.

It is important that owners only offer treats (especially “people” food) after the dog performs a specified action, like sitting.

They can also feed the Pug before the rest of the family eats, which makes the dog less likely to beg.

Given Pugs’ short statures and tendency to do cute things, it is important that their owners do not inadvertently encourage undesirable behaviors by laughing or giving in to their Pugs’ demands.

Well, having said that, there are rare instances where the pug becomes overprotective and even becomes territorial over his food.

That's what seems to be happening with Sadie. She's turned into an overprotective pug, who doesn't want anyone to touch HER pizza boxes!!

Check out the video on the next page and watch Sadie the pug as she randomly decides that the pizza boxes belongs to her!

  1. What happens when she bites someone or one of the other dogs? Pugs are tough and I doubt anyone will be laughing when she takes a chunk of their hand out. This is not cute. The guy had the right idea trying to remove her from the situation but for some reason we needed it to continue. It baffles my mind how ignorant people are.

  2. Video did NOT make my day….and is not remotely funny. You are tempting fate….that this “cute” behavior will remain. It teaches dominance and territorial behavior. ..which will end in someone getting hurt…including other dogs.

  3. My pug would never have done this. I’d not accept possessive pet behaviours in my house. However my pug was so timid that if you put that box anywhere near him he’d have jumped a mile! He loved peanut butter and yogurt but even with a jar in front of him he couldn’t go near it because it was too scary. So probably polar opposites!
