Part of the Pug's appeal and charm is his wonderful wrinkles. The V pattern wrinkles on his forehead is just plain irresistible!
Then there's the irresistible nose roll — the deep fold of skin that lies above his nose. It even wiggles whenever he sniffs.
Despite the Pug's physical appeal, keep in mind that taking care of your Pug's wrinkles and nose roll is serious business.
Check out the video on the next page to learn how to easily and effectively clean your pug's wrinkles!

I use unscented baby wipes on my pugs wrinkles, and I’m pretty sure she actually likes getting her face clean as she cannot get in to her wrinkles on her own. She always sits very still and never fights me… unless I use a scented wipe, even the dog-safe ones.

I think you kinda just have to go for it.
Maybe start just like wiping his nose and then slowly work up to the wrinkles. If you can have one person hold him like a hug and then you might have a better shot. 🙂

It sure is I used to use baby wipes on his face at least once a day sometimes more but he really didn’t like it much,

Kinda hard to do this when your pug hates having her face messed with and keeps turning her head from side to side.

Yup. I do this about once a day…mainly because my baby is old and I don’t know how but it’s just constantly dirty!
Chris Pickett

That’s pretty much how I do it. Simple. All pug owners should see things anyways, especially if they have concerns. I go damp towel, then dry towel.
