    They are herd dogs. They nip at the heels of cattle or sheep or anything including people to herd them up. That’s what they do. I have two now and they nipped at my heels when I was mowing the grass. But I just had to teach them to bark and bite at the mower and not at me. If you have seen some nasty biters then you were exposed to some idiot handlers. Sorry, but…

    Some breeders in my state are trying to pass off these mixes as purebreds and charging a fortune and registering them as pure with AKC. I had such a bad experience trying to get another corgi that I gave up and went down to the local shelter and adopted the puppy I thought was cute. Wound up bringing home a 6lb boxer mix who is now 4 months old and 35+ pounds.

    We love our Corgi,Sophie she is 2 years old today! She has her moments,mostly if we are away from her longer than she thinks we should be.We wouldn’t take a million dollars for her she is our baby.She’s the first furbaby we’re ever keep inside,we love her more than words can say!! And she loves us and she takes care of us.Don’t know what we would do without her,I don’t even won’t to think about it!! Love our Sophie!!!
