    This is why there is an over abundance of corgi mixes in the shelters. I wouldn’t be opposed to getting a mix from a shelter or rescue but I love my corgi and agree with Linda, how can you approve on the perfect dog. I have rescued and rehomed two corgi mixes.

    First was a jack Russell mix, crazy, hyper dog. Poor thing was too much for his owners so he spent the first six months of his life in a crate. I had him for 6 months but just didn’t have the energy he needed. I worked on potty training and manners. He even learned a few tricks from watching Dash.

    The other was an, she was much calmer than my corgi but very jealous, stubborn, and possessive. Neither was an improvement over my corgi!
