Broken Hearted Dog Was Brought to a Shelter and Finds Out He’s Being Given Up

Animals do have a unique perception. They are fully aware whenever things aren’t okay. This dog, named “Toto,” found out that he was being given up when he stepped inside the busy Carson Animal Control office, in California, one Friday. In the video, you’ll see the instant Toto, a three-year-old Chihuahua, was given up along with a bit of his food.

Toto can be seen leaping up on his owner’s leg and trying to break free. The look on Toto’s face reveals it all. The main reason Toto was surrendered was because he was being too noisy. Which is, basically, a cheap excuse. There are many ways to handle this situation. You could always train your dog and training is available everywhere…

The Carson Animal Control office was frantic. They were almost full, and Toto had to find a foster home as soon as possible because a dog that is given up by their owner may be put down for any excuse.

Toto didn’t find a foster home. Thankfully, however, he got adopted instead! This adorable dog won’t have to worry about being given up again.

Don’t forget to share Toto’s story to all of your friends and family!

  1. They are garbage and heartless how can you just dumb them off in fear. Naturally they are fast to get put down because they go from a home to a cage they are terrified as well as they are so scared they can be aggressive out of that fear. Unfortunely i dont think they are treated good in there. So tbry get throen in jail with only food no love i hate humans

  2. That person should never be allowed to adopt another pet. That’s just cruel. I rescued a 1 year old beagle last year and he has lots of issues including anxiety so bad that I had to put him on Prozac. But I could never give him up. That’s heartless.

  3. I hate these stories because they are so true… These dogs are family and should be treated as such, and that goes for any living thing your deem as a pet. If you choose to feed, water, and care for any living animal. I understand issues like death, sickness, etc. I myself would arrange for my dogs to be taken care of but we run a rescue with many fosters so we are at an advantage. If you animal is not acting right odds are it was your lack of patience and time that led to this issue. Unless you are %110 percent committed to your animal DON’T GET ONE!
