Police officers out on patrol in Turlock, California witnessed a man beating his dog as another person looked on.
The man, 28-year-old Sol Brua of Ballico, is accused of beating his dog to the point the animal could not get up.
It all started when a call came in from a witness to the crime. The person stated Brua was abusing his dog and would not stop.
When cops arrived on the scene, they saw Brua hit his nine-month-old Siberian Husky with a skateboard. He then threw the dog in the air and let him hit the ground.

When officers approached the animal, he was not moving. Police arrested Brua on suspicion of animal cruelty.
