Six Sick Puppies Were Abandoned In A Parking Garage — But Their Story Now Has A Happy Twist

When the owner of a car storage facility arrived at work one morning, he expected a normal day. Instead, he found six German shepherd mix puppies wandering the compound — lost, sick, and desperately in need of help.

Acting quickly, the man gathered the frightened pups into a car and called the RSPCA.

“When I opened the car door, they were all huddled together on the back seat,” said RSPCA inspector Nina Small. “They were in an awful state, being sick and feeling very, very sorry for themselves.”

Small rushed the puppies to the vet, where it was discovered that they were infested with worms and lice. Thankfully, none of their conditions were life-threatening.

After treatment, the pups were transferred to an RSPCA shelter, where staff showered them with the love and care they had clearly been missing.

The 13-week-old siblings — three boys and three girls — were given names: Tommy, Liam, Bradley, Hannah, Rosie, and Jade.

Almost immediately, their spirits lifted. With proper food, medicine, and affection, the once-sick puppies began to bounce back quickly.

Within just a few days, every single one had already been reserved by families eager to give them forever homes.

“There is going to be a happy ending for these puppies,” Small said. “But given the condition they were found in, I am very concerned for their mum’s welfare, too. I want to hear from anyone who knows where we might find her, or who saw anything that might help my investigation into how these puppies came to be dumped in this state.”

While the puppies’ future now looks bright, rescuers remain determined to ensure no animal suffers the same cruel abandonment.
