  1. This is me and my husband. We have Dixie named Maggie . We love her like she is our child. She is 10 now . And not in good health. Had back problems. Can’t think of something happening to her.

  2. I have 4. I’d have 10 if I could care for them the way I care for the 4 we have. They even have their own heater. They are my children and I truly believe I should be able to write them off like kids on my tax return. Lol (This is one of our dogs with all of their toys.)

  3. Many doxies are a talkative bunch. Some people use a shock collar but personally my own choice is I’m not a fan. I’ve learned there are certain barking triggers and I try to control that. For example if I open the back door and allow all three to charge out they will feed off each other but if I open a door and let them out one second apart they are fine. Likewise if I leave the front shutters open one will bark when cars enter our court but if the shutters are shut they are okay. Modifying the environment has worked with the exception of the UPS man who apparently is their mortal nemesis. Mine also used to bark when I walked them but that displayed over time and now they seldom bark on a walk.
