Dogs are meant to be loved and respected. So whenever we hear about people who happily abuse these beautiful creatures, the majority of us all get understandably enraged at the pure evil out there in the world.

Thankfully, for every horrible person, there are countless more who will do whatever it takes to save these wonderful animals. So when a local dad heard his neighbor’s dog screaming for help, he knew he had to call 911.

Alfie, a senior Golden Retriever, was kept outside by his former owners, chained up by the side of the house. His snout was muzzled with duct tape and his only bed was a cold slab of concrete. He wasn’t properly taken care of, and he was completely ignored, no matter how much he cried for help.

The cops couldn’t do much other than tell the owners to take better care of the animal, but when neighbors realized nothing was changing to help this poor senior dog, one dad realized he was going to have to take justice into his own hands!

    People who get animals and do this to the poor baby don’t need animals. They need severe punishment for hurting them. The things humans do to any animal affects how the animal will react to a person afterwards . If you abuse or neglect them they may show aggression and fear to those who try to save them. Why do people want to destroy someone who loves them unconditionally

    Out raged!.Breaks my heart for the poor dog to be chained up like it was. Thank you to the man for saving the dog’s life. We all need to come together and put a stop to Animal Abuse!

    I cant believe people in 1st world countries where we have everything including time and money to look after dogs still treat them like this. Its cruel and disturbing! Why even bother owning a dog if you dont want to look after them. If your dog wont stop barking just figure out why he was probably hungry or thirsty!

    I truly cannot understand some people’s behaviour. It sickens me to see this kind of treatment to an innocent animal…..and they still forgive us and learn to trust again. Amazing animals and amazing people who rescue them and heal them emotionally and physically. Thank you.

    I get so upset when I see articles like this! Poor helpless creatures! It’s cruel! If you don’t want the responsibility of owning a pet don’t get one! Thanks to all the kind people that rescue these beautiful animals!
    People who treat animals like this should get the same treatment so they can see how it feels & no one should rescue them!!
