Pug Is Being Called A Hero For Saving Family In House Fire

A pug named Jersey is being called a hero because she woke her owners up just in time to save them from a house fire.

When Kim and Tom Zaker decided to sleep in the cool basement last September to escape the heat of the day, they had no clue what was about to happen to their family that night.

A fire tore through the main part of the house above and would have trapped and killed the couple, if not for the brave actions of their little pug, Jersey.

“In my mind Jersey is my hero,” said Tom.

    I would have gotten my dog out, if I had to go back in. I have a pug. His name is Brody and he’s just as much my family as he is a pet. I’d never leave him! I second what Alison said, I’d die with him if I couldn’t have gotten out with him.

    Exactly Jeanne, Pluto (my 7yr old Pug) is my second child and there is NOTHING THAT I WOULDN’T DO FOR HIM!!!!! I would run into a burning building to save my baby or it would take an Entire Army to Try to hold me back
