Pug Is Being Called A Hero For Saving Family In House Fire

A pug named Jersey is being called a hero because she woke her owners up just in time to save them from a house fire.

When Kim and Tom Zaker decided to sleep in the cool basement last September to escape the heat of the day, they had no clue what was about to happen to their family that night.

A fire tore through the main part of the house above and would have trapped and killed the couple, if not for the brave actions of their little pug, Jersey.

“In my mind Jersey is my hero,” said Tom.

    Don’t understand why they left her.
    Teakwood would’ve gone with us and steak and ribs for the rest of his life!
    Maybe the guy wasn’t thinking.
    Clearly the house was in huge flames.
    Video said he went back after her.

    Right? I had a house fire and lost literally everything but what i was wearing and before the fireman came i went into the burning house and got my pug, bull terrier, cat, and turtle. Their was no way id ever leave my pets. They r family and in thr end it was just me n them left and i was just grateful i had the most important things out which was them and my family members
