Pug Is Being Called A Hero For Saving Family In House Fire

A pug named Jersey is being called a hero because she woke her owners up just in time to save them from a house fire.

When Kim and Tom Zaker decided to sleep in the cool basement last September to escape the heat of the day, they had no clue what was about to happen to their family that night.

A fire tore through the main part of the house above and would have trapped and killed the couple, if not for the brave actions of their little pug, Jersey.

“In my mind Jersey is my hero,” said Tom.

    I get that it’s taboo to blame the family. But I read this article and could not imagine. Barking->sees fire->evacuates. (Wrong)

    Barking->grab pug and gun->sees fire->yells “wife! Fire! I have the pug!->evacuate (correct)
