Does your dog HATE having his toe nails clipped?
This adorable pug really, REALLY hates it… so much so that he totally loses his emotions to run away from the reality of having his toe nails clipped!
His emotionless facial expression while having his nails cut is just too hilarious and cute!!

Definitely a pug thing….we had a mobile groomer come to our house, she learned a trick, wash her first…put her under the dryer, which she LOVED. And then trim her nails while still under it.

I think this is mean. Of course you need to clip your dog’s nails, but if you know they hate it, please don’t taunt them just to make a video

It’s ironic. They have to have their nails trimmed and they hate it so much. Never had this problem with our Scottie, Bichon, or mixed breed.

Same with me, had lots of different breeds over the years no trouble At all just took the tip off every 10 days quick shrinks back. Started my Pug off the same way from a baby really good until she was one year old, then she turned into a screaming tiger bit us twice. Tried treats as they are such pigs..!! Same behaviour. Now I have to sedate her.

You think that’s difficult. My Great Pyr hates his feet touched. I’m lucky if I can get 1 nail cut at a time.

If they get enough exercise on both heard and hard surfaces their nails should be ok. Ours has no probs with nails and we never have to clip them

Mine runs as soon as he sees the clippers. The vet red flagged him and told me they don’t have a flat muzzle to put on him do they’re not able to do his nails .

My pug is so bad he’s been kicked out of several places and only one vet will deal with him and they put him to sleep. I ask what other options we have and they said they didn’t know what else to do.

My pug hates his nails done and always has. Vet said to play w his feet so he would get comfortable w feet touched but as soon as clippers come out the fight is on. Hubby holds him and I clip and when we r done it looks and feels like we’ve been in a fight w a grizzly! He runs straight to treat bowl when finished!

Absolutely! as they say “A watchdog is a dog kept to guard your home, usually by sleeping where a burglar would awaken the household by falling over him” – http://www.facebook.com/petbarks
