Police were called when this lady left her dog in a hot car while she went into Walmart.
When she came back out to her car, a cop was waiting and made her sit in the hot car to see how her dog felt!
HuffingtonPost.com reports that this happened after the officer responded to the call about the dog being left in the car in Ohio:
“To prove a point, the officer made the woman sit inside of the warm car with the windows up and without the engine on for a few minutes.
The woman said she was fine but the officer noted she looked uncomfortable. The woman was advised if she did this again she would be cited.”
More: What To Do If You See A Dog In A Hot Car
The article notes that this isn’t the first time that an officer has done this. They say that last year another officer did the same thing to a woman who left her dog in a hot car in New Mexico.
That woman said that what the officer did was “abusive”. It was all caught on camera too.
Do you think it’s fair or is the officer going too far by making these people sit in a hot car after they leave their dogs in a hot car?

Well, humans are more important than animals. Hopefully this dumb$#%&!@*cop doesn’t lose his job for playing Judge. These cops need to stick to the law and not take$#%&!@*into their own hands. Next thing we know, humans will be shot because of animals.

Locking someone in w hot vehicle and making them stay in it falls under torture which is cruel and unusual punishment. Which is against their rights on federal law and Geneva convention

It’s not cruel or unusual. Because I guarantee that the lady kept insisting “it was just 10 mins! It’s fine!” So if it’s all hunky dory then this should have been no problem for her!
