Police Officer Makes Woman Sit In Hot Car After She Left Her Dog In The Car

Police were called when this lady left her dog in a hot car while she went into Walmart.

When she came back out to her car, a cop was waiting and made her sit in the hot car to see how her dog felt!

HuffingtonPost.com reports that this happened after the officer responded to the call about the dog being left in the car in Ohio:

“To prove a point, the officer made the woman sit inside of the warm car with the windows up and without the engine on for a few minutes.

The woman said she was fine but the officer noted she looked uncomfortable. The woman was advised if she did this again she would be cited.”

The article notes that this isn’t the first time that an officer has done this. They say that last year another officer did the same thing to a woman who left her dog in a hot car in New Mexico.

That woman said that what the officer did was “abusive”. It was all caught on camera too.

    She didn’t learn anything. Her attitude tells me she will shut her dog in the car again and not care one bit. The dog should be taken away and she should never be allowed to have another animal.

    Did anybody actually watch the video of the officer at all? He didn’t make the woman sit in her car. He told “since you don’t think it’s so hot why don’t you just sit in your car with the doors closed”? He made a quip since the woman was being confrontational and said she thought he was being abusive. The video shows the whole details, this article was super click baity and poorly done.

    Watch the actual video, people. Don’t just read headlines and make up the rest in your head.

    good hope she felt the heat!! we had to sit in our car waiting for RACQ UP at Mt ISA few months ago and it was just horrid , for 2 hours and were able to put windows up or down !! a dog can’t do that!!
