Police were called when this lady left her dog in a hot car while she went into Walmart.
When she came back out to her car, a cop was waiting and made her sit in the hot car to see how her dog felt!
HuffingtonPost.com reports that this happened after the officer responded to the call about the dog being left in the car in Ohio:
“To prove a point, the officer made the woman sit inside of the warm car with the windows up and without the engine on for a few minutes.
The woman said she was fine but the officer noted she looked uncomfortable. The woman was advised if she did this again she would be cited.”
More: What To Do If You See A Dog In A Hot Car
The article notes that this isn’t the first time that an officer has done this. They say that last year another officer did the same thing to a woman who left her dog in a hot car in New Mexico.
That woman said that what the officer did was “abusive”. It was all caught on camera too.
Do you think it’s fair or is the officer going too far by making these people sit in a hot car after they leave their dogs in a hot car?

THATS NOT OKAY that cop was abusing his title. Yes the lady shouldn’t of left her dog in the hot car BUT YOU DON’T DO THAT TO A PERSON EITHER hope that cop gets fired

Why would he be arrested for assault and police brutality? He didn’t order her into the car, he said since it’s not that hot in there why don’t you get in and close the door.

I agree completely! But, if you watch the video, he didn’t make her. He made a sarcastic comment, saying basically, if it’s so cool in your truck, why don’t you sit in it with the windows up and no AC.

Did you watch the video? He didn’t actually make her. He made a sarcastic statement, saying, if it’s so cool in your truck, why don’t you sit in it with the windows up and no air.

After seeing the lapel cam he didn’t make her do anything, he said as she doesn’t think it’s that hot, which she was saying by how the interior wasn’t that hot, she could wait in the car then, she wouldn’t close the door though, so that headline didn’t ACTUALLY happen at all. So no the officer did nothing wrong by the law that I can see, he was just making a point to get her to understand what she had done as she appeared not to give a toss. Well done that man.
