   This dog should receive a disability pension from the police dept. To take care of his needs now that he is retired. He did his job and deserves the same as a human.

   Yes a wonderful story indeed. I will say this, people that do not have animal’s don’t have a clue as to the bond that grows between pet and owner over the years.

    I’m happy this dog was reunited with his handler….I just wish more cops would think about the heartache they cause by unnecessarily shooting the dogs of civilians. Especially in light of some court giving them unfettered ability to kill at will.
